Warlords Of Draenor will be releasing sometime around September/October of 2014. But the question is, will you be playing WoD when it releases?
Warlords Of Draenor
To get to a quick answer, yes i will give it a try. But the previous expansion Mists Of Pandaria had a lot of downsides. I never liked LFR and never will. It ruins item progression/raid progression. In early Cata or more famously WOTLK the progression system was a lot more smooth without as much repeats as they have today. Back then PvE progression was as the following: Ding to 80! > Heroics > Low tier raids (Naxx) > Medium tier raids (Ulduar/ToC) > High tier raids (Icc) > Heroic modes. WOTLK’s PvE progression makes so much sense, each time you finish a tier you move to new content that is fresh. The infamous MoP PvE progression: Ding to 90! > Heroics > LFR > Normal raids (no LFR) > Medium/High tier raids > Heroics.
The problem with that PvE progression system is that it makes you bored after the first few LFR runs. Then finally when you are done gearing up in LFR you move to the normal raids to get your gear. There you had to do the same raid over again, the only slight difference was that normals were and are harder than LFR.
It’s sad to see the PvE progression system crumble, as Blizzard is serving the more “casual” players. But i hope WoD of Draenor is going to mend that problem. When they announced WoD at Blizzcon they also discussed what the new PvE progression system would be like.
WoD PvE progression system
With the new PvE progression coming in WoD i hope that we will have the option to skip past LFR and go right to Flexible raids (Normals).
Besides LFR WoD looks really solid. I have always wanted to visit Draenor ever since i was told about it. I am okay with a time travel expansion as it will really bring us into the past of Warcraft’s history with a little twist. With the new zones coming out content will not be a problem. You will be able to choose in which zone you feel like leveling in rather than being stuck with only one option.

The last thing i want to address is “get your 90 for free”. With WoD release everyone will be able to boost at least one character to level 90. I see this as not a big problem. With WoW there has been so much expansions and new content it would take a good amount of time for you to level another character. So this is not a big problem but buying a 90 is a whole different story, although that is a discussion for a different day.
In the end ill give WoD a try. WoD has all new content and thats what i love about WoW, each expansion give you the sensation to come back.
Yesterday Blizzard released their first infographic which is pretty much a visual of all of WoW’s fun facts. The fun facts that i found most interesting was that Alliance holds 52% of all of WoW’s population and the Horde holds 47%. But your asking… were is the other 1%? With the release of MoP 1% goes to the Neutral side. Take a look at this infographic, it really is nice to see all of WoW’s achievements.
We all know of World Of Warcraft’s Designer Island: Now that you have seen a few pictures, curious? Well guess what! There is one in Wildstar too. It’s Called… the LonelyProgrammerIsland. On the Island they must be testing all types of things such as tiles, styles, features and other crazy developer stuff. Here is a […]
When were talking about gold and how to make some Ascalonian Catacombs is a great place to start.
Doing dungeons is a great way to make some extra gold and AC is a great example. Since there are 3 paths in the dungeon and each path rewards you with a bonus for doing it daily you can earn a total of 4 and 50. Also with all the chests you get from the dungeon you can earn anywhere from 2-3 gold. Sometimes you can get lucky and a exotic item can drop which can sell for a few gold. Along with the bonuses you also get 3 champion bags per path which gives you fine, masterwork and exotic items. Within the champion bags you also get a few silver which normally ranges from 3-7 silver.
Now that we’ve settled the gold part lets find out how to join a “speed run”. First off what is a speed run? A speed run is another way of saying “i want to get this dungeon finished, fast…”. So basically the people advertising speed runs want to get the dungeon done fast without wipes and with people who know how to run the dungeon. It’s okay if you don’t know every stacking position in AC or things like that because there is a first time for everything. Join one of these groups and tag along with the players.
Most people already know that AC is a good place to earn some daily gold. But this can serve to you as a reminder. Do your AC’s daily and every week you will have 31 and 50. Doing all 3 paths with a speed run group in AC can take about one hour. Sometimes wipes can extend this to about an hour and 20 minutes. But overtime you will learn AC and going through the dungeon will be like a walk in the park.
Here at SGU we will not be providing any crafting guides on how to get from 1-400 or 1-500 or anything related to that. Instead we believe that other sites have done a great job with this. If you are looking to level a certain craft skill in Guild Wars 2 you can always check www.gw2crafts.net. They have great guides on crafting, there guides always include the price of the craft and the money you will earn in return. An example would be:
In all of there guides they will tell you what items you will need like:
The number next to the name tells you have much you will need to buy.
If you worried about certain recipes that you will need to craft don’t be! They tell you exactly what you need to discover certain recipes.
The guides on the website will tell you everything you need to know about the craft you want to level. Personally i found this site very useful to level my crafting. If you guys ever need to level a crafting skill this website will definitely help you out.
Hello everyone! Today i will be showing you guys a farming spot in the Iron marches that can make you over 10g per hour!
1. Waypoint to Firewatch Encampment Waypoint which is located in Gladefall Run.
2. Go to the bridge north of the Waypoint and let all the guards from this event die. Defend mortar operators from Flame Legion as they set up mortars event.
3. Once all the guards are dead you can then stand on the bridge and farm the Flame Legion Soldiers. This is were the money comes in. Linen scraps (click on the link for the current price) sell for a high amount of silver per. You do not get Linen scraps directly but you get them from Medium Ritual Bags(click on the link for drop table). These bags give you anywhere from 1-3 linen scraps per and it is possible to earn about 30-45 bags per event which lasts 25 minutes.
4. Once the event ends you then proceed to the second chain event of this farming method. The second event Stop the Flame Legion from capturing Firewatch Encampment does not earn you as much as it does with the first event. That being said you can still obtain a considerable amount of bags from this event. Once You finish the second event the first one will start again.
